THE CITY OF FATHER CHRISTMAS ( IN TURKEY )
St Nicholas known as Santa Claus( Father christmas-Noel Baba ) today, was born and lived in Demre (Myra) on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. The village contains the famous Church of St Nicholas with the sarcophagus believed to be his tomb.
There is a Father Christmas Festival every year in Demre Turkey…
I didnT know it either till i saw the video on youtube. This village is Efes, very close to Izmir, has all history from that century. I recommend to you to visit Efes and Izmir if you come here one day
